Every time the bastard’s face is seen, it’s confirmation of a moment in time where there was once a division of trust between two committed parties. In short, it affects all parties to give this title to a child. It was only thanks to the foresight of Lord Fredrick that he gave her the title of Ward instead of Bastard. Though, this deceit will only last for so long. Too many questions raised on the sidelines regarding when her name-day would happen. The concerns were brushed aside, and she slowly became invisible.

Her official title is “The Nameless,” shared with so many other children who lost their parents at an early age. However, she is finally given a proper name by the Northern Itinerant nomads.
